The Vanquisher

FeaturedThe Vanquisher

O Vanquisher of all pains,
Why don’t you vanquish mine,
You are my only believeth,
Even if you can’t extenuate,
Who else can………

I have been crushed to pieces,
Like glass under elephant’s feet,
Longing for you to come,
Surrounded by atrocities of lies,
For you to come and relinquish,
From all my anguish.

Come, pick me up in your lap,
And let me take a deep nap,
I am now tired of these woes,
I have become sick of this fake worldly shows,
O Vanquisher of all pains,
Why don’t you vanquish mine……

A Lonely Girl

A Lonely Girl

A lonely girl standing at the bus stop,
Wearing a black jeans and white top,
Looking at the mobile screen again and again,
May be waiting for someone,
A group of boys gazing at her,
Like they have never seen a girl so far,
Some whispers, some giggles,
Some comments, some assumptions,
They saw the girl becoming uncomfortable,
Still they continued, only the girl’s sin was,
She was all alone.

A five year old girl going to a nearby school,
Dressed in a white shirt and blue skirt,
With a tie around and hair tied with red ribbon,
Few disguished demons following her,
And she is just unaware of it,
Don’t know who’re those,
Who can’t even see her innocence smile,
And just envisions her with eye of lust,
And still we say lenght of dress,
Is the cause of female molestation.
Only the girl’s sin was,
She used to go school all alone.

A girl for the first time went a friend,
Went out for a movie night,
While returning when no cabs agreed,
To take back home,
She had to repent in fright,
Murmers to God, kindly take me to home tonight,
Next time onwards, I will return in sunlight.
Girls at late night,
People eyes with glaring eyes,
Like some sins they have commited,
By spending one night outside.
Her only sin was,
That day she decided to go all alone.

I wrote this poem as a protest to rising crime against women……

Valentine’s Day

Valentine’s Day

So,Valentine’s Day it is and also the couples are busy exchanging expensive gifts and advertising their love everywhere. Is it the real love that Shakespeare taught us or Saint Valentine where break ups take place in fraction of seconds and promises are being broken every now and then. No, it can’t be Love. Real love resides in heart, it doesn’t need any show off or proof. It is in the understanding we have for the other person, it is in the care that we do and it is in the sacrifice we make. It is simply valueless, it cannot be bought by money. Real love is Truth. Real love is God.

Happy Valentine’s Day

Kasoor…

Har din jab sota hun,
Ander hi ander bohot rota hun,
Tut chuka hun main tere jaane ke baad,
Ab toh bas ek hi dua krta hun,
Tum raho khush humesha vle hi dusre ke saath,
Lehere uthti hai is betab dil mein,
Shayad kuch kehna chahti hai muihse,
Pr main sunta nhi uski,
Kyoki main jaanta hun,
Wo tumhare baare mein puchna chahti hai,
Uss nadan dil ko kya samjhau,
Ki tum kabhi meri ho nhi sakti,
Tum toh shayad kisi aur ko chahti ho,
Kasur ye tumhara nhi, mere dil ka hi hai,
Jo shayad kisi aur ke ho chuki dil pe aa gya………
